Dr Ernesto Martinez said on Saturday Cabanas recognised family members and officials from his club.
Cabanas, of Paraguay and Club America, was shot in the head at point-blank range. The suspect, Jose J Balderas Garza, identified on a surveillance camera, has not been detained. - Sapa-AP
