Cops looking for elusive trio

POLICE are looking for Bongani Mazibuko, Mxolisi Mazibuko and Christopher "Mthokozist" Mbatha.

The three are allegedly linked to the disappearance of Ekurhuleni councillor Godfrey Mbethe, who has been missing since last July.

Investigating officer Captain Frikkie Steyn says he needs the public's help to arrest the three. Two of their accomplices are already in custody.

"I missed Mazibuko at a shebeen near the hostels in Vosloorus last week. He was there but when we arrived he had left," Steyn said.

He said the other suspects might be moving between Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal.

Steyn believes the three were involved in Mbethe's disappearance on July 22 last year.

He says he has video footage from Eastgate Mali that links the suspects to Mbethe's debit card. Steyn may be reached on 082-576-4947.
