Already they are trading insults, making things publicly acrimonious and dashing any hopes their fans might have had that they could patch things up.

We look at all this with some amusement. We pity those who believe newspapers should concern themselves only with what they refer to as matters of public interest. The interest in the affairs of the Brangelina home is yet another reminder that escapism is a by-product of our hustle and bustle world.

We live realities that so often seem to be so much with us that we defer to the make believe world of celebrities for some respite.
