"I'm very happy with the coach's encouragement to me personally, and to us a team. I'm calling on all supporters to come to the stadium and see the team putting on a good show.
"Between now and the World Cup is the time when we need them the most so they can pick us up when necessary, and to move forward with us," Modise said.
Coach Carlos Alberto Parreira has acknowledged the difficulty of getting Bafana into World Cup condition in the absence of competitive games, a natural barometer of progress. The match will be beamed live on SABC 1. Entrance is free and the gates open at 1pm.
