LIMPOPO police are searching for a three-year-old boy who disappeared four days ago at Tshamulungwi village outside Thohoyandou.

The boy went missing while waiting for his mother, who was washing clothes in a river.

Villagers have been searching for Isaac Ramugondo, who was last seen with a relative and a stranger. This was after his mother allowed him to play with his cousin.

The police said they had been searching for the boy over the past four days without any

success.

Inspector Tshilidzi Nyambeni of the Mutale police said a missing person docket had been opened and investigations were in progress.

Nyambeni said people did not suspect drowning since the river was too shallow for any person to drown.

But villagers suspect the boy was a victim of a ritual killing.
