DUE to an unprecedented intake as a result of bank repossessions and high court liquidations during December, Aucor's first trucking and construction auction of 2010 promises to offer an excellent array of items for prospective bidders.

Dewald van der Nest, general manager of Aucor's trucking division, said the auction house will be selling on behalf of five different financial institutions, together with assets from liquidation cases.

"We have been instructed to sell to the highest bidder and nothing will be held back.

The 280 lots on offer are in excellent condition and buyers looking for trucks and similar equipment can take advantage of high quality items at good prices."

Among the items on offer are late-model mechanical horses, trucks, construction and mining equipment, semi trailers, rigid trucks, tippers, rollers, buses, refrigerated semis, screens and cranes.

The auction takes place on Wednesday next week at 10.30am at Aucor's Midrand trucking yard, corner Olifantsfontein and Summit roads, Blue Valley, Midrand.
