Malcolm X ditches Mbau

SHOWBIZ bad girl and drama queen Khanyi Mbau has been ditched by her spin doctor and long-time friend Malcolm X.

SHOWBIZ bad girl and drama queen Khanyi Mbau has been ditched by her spin doctor and long-time friend Malcolm X.

A source close to Malcolm X told Sowetan that he was so fed up with defending what he called "a morally challenged woman" that he quit by SMS in November.

"Malcolm had a soft spot for Khanyi but he got tired because he was fighting so many battles because of her low morals," the source said.

The last straw was her bragging about having a relationship with a married man.

Another source claimed the two were secret lovers and Malcolm X was jealous and could not stand seeing Mbau with different rich and married men.

Mbau, who recently divorced her broke businessman hubby Mandla Mthembu, is allegedly dating another businessman.

Malcolm X had managed Mbau since 2006. He confirmed that he resigned in November. But he rejected claims that they were secret lovers. He said he quit because he got a very good job as a marketing director with Africa-Australia Resources, a mining company based in Sandton.

"My move has nothing to do with Khanyi. We never dated. She is best friends with my girlfriend."

He said his new job was demanding with "huge responsibilities that required a sound mind".

But when Sowetan asked Mbau about Malcom X's resignation she feigned surprise.

Mbau, who boasted that she paid Malcolm X a handsome salary, said she was aware of his other job but according to their contract managing her came first.

She said he was still on her payroll but she had not spoken to him since December.

"I have not seen Malcolm for a long time. I do not know what is happening. I'm surprised to hear about his resignation from you. As far as I know he still works for me."
