The festival takes place at the Catalina Theatre in Durban from January 14 to 17. It pays tribute to smaller works, featuring one and two performers, that are often neglected.
Musho gives performers a chance to showcase their talent and new productions.
Theatre lovers can look forward to shows such as Afro-Indian Identity,Senzo Mthethwa, Kumseela Naidoo, Amagama Amathathu, Puppets, It's Me and Nomfundo.
Another show one can look forward to is Rumpsteak, which is a delightful physical-theatre comedy from Cape Town.
Performed by Gaetan Schmid and directed by comedian Rob van Vuuren, this one-man show takes you on a magical trip behind the scenes of a French restaurant.
Conveyed through delightful sound effects, Rumpsteak brings to life the sizzle of sensational cooking and spontaneous waiters.
My Name is Lucky is a charming piece of physical theatre about hope and dreams performed by Catalinaregular Grant Jacobs and directed by Jean van Elden.
Musho Festival director Emma Durden says: "The first four festivals held annually since January 2006 were astonishingly inspiring and successful, with some fabulous productions, interesting dialogue and amazing support.
"The response was amazing. Despite diminished resources this year, we have still put together a wonderful festival with some great shows scheduled for one weekend."
Tickets cost R50. Pensioners and students pay R25 for any shows of their choice.
