Blame system, not matriculants

THE UDM youth would like to congratulate matriculants who passed. They now have a very promising future.

To those who failed we say, i t is not the end of the world and we do not blame you for failing.

We blame the education system and call for going back to basics, where teachers teach and pupils learn. How can we expect maximum performance from pupils when education resources are so limited?

Compare apples with apples. Look at the results of the independent schools, which again did exceptionally well. The system in public schools is second rate.

The government pretends that education is their priority, but stationery is given out late, there is a shortage of text books, information centres are non existent and there are not enough quality teachers.
