THE Health Professionals Council of SA has warned matriculants intending to take the medical route to be aware of Global Medical Training, which is not accredited to offer emergency care training as it claims.

THE Health Professionals Council of SA has warned matriculants intending to take the medical route to be aware of Global Medical Training, which is not accredited to offer emergency care training as it claims.

Global Medical Training has been ordered to shut down following an investigation by the HPCSA Professional Board for Emergency Care.

"The institution has been directed to cease all training of persons falling within the scope of the profession of emergency care with immediate effect and to notify all students accordingly," said acting registrar of the HPCSA Marella O'Reilly.
