POLICE in Limpopo have arrested two suspected poachers in Nwanedi after they were found in possession of animal carcasses.

The arrest of the two foreign nationals came after a tip-off by members of the community. Five animals were wounded and one died of trap wounds. The poachers had the dead animal in their possession when they were arrested.

About six wild animals were killed by poachers during December and January. Among them were a rhino and leopard.
