Leopards are second behind African Warriors of QwaQwa in the Inland Stream of the National First Division, with another Limpopo side, Dynamos, third.
Warriors lead the pack with 30 points, Leopards have 26, Dynamos 22 and fourth-placed Witbank Spurs 21, all from 15 matches.
Said Magazi yesterday: "The boys have been training hard and are looking forward to going back to the Premiership where they rightfully belong.
"We are not worried about the other teams. We are going to change gears, moving to the top one as we are approaching the end of our season."
He said Leopards would treat all their remaining matches like cup finals in their quest to finish the season on top of the log, "and we cannot afford to drop even a single point".
"As management we are doing everything in our power to support the team to get back to the Premiership next season.
"We are not happy in the National First Division. In fact, a big province like Limpopo does not deserve to be without a representative in the top league.
"You will recall that at one stage we had three clubs in the elite division.
"We owe it to the people of Limpopo to have two or more clubs in the Premiership," said Magazi.
He was also grateful for the Limpopo government's investment in sports development in the province.
"The Giyani, Thulamela and Polokwane municipalities are also doing a great job to upgrade stadiums and in the construction of Peter Mokaba Sports Centre for the 2010 Fifa World Cup."
The players who were retained by Leopards, who are led by David Thidiela, include Malawi internationals Robert N'gambi, Peter Mponda and Fischer Kondowe.
