THOUSANDS of Nazareth Baptist Church of Prophet Isaiah Shembe members yesterday ascended the holy mountain of Nhlangakazi for their annual pilgrimage.
Ekuphakameni congregants embarked on their annual pilgrimage to the holy mountain in Ndwedwe, north of Durban.
They left their headquarters at 10am, walking 80km with umphongolo wesivumelono (ark of covenant) to the mountain were they will spend eight days.
A spokesperson for Eku-phakameni Velemafini Ximba said the journey was peaceful.
