But the Limpopo gospel group Worship House gives one just that.
The group might not be well-known everywhere in South Africa but in Limpopo they are making serious inroads and they have won numerous awards.
The group has won two SABC Crown Gospel Awards, South African Traditional Music Awards and Mughana Lonene FM Awards.
Over the past years this astonishing group has impressed with their fantastic success, with one sell-out show after another country-wide.
Made up of 40 members the group has just released Ikhaya Lami Project 6, a DVD and CD recorded live. With this album, says group spokesperson Shemaiah Makhota, they hope to reach a wider audience.
The lyrics are in many languages, from Shona, Tsivenda, and isiZulu to Shangaan. The album is enhanced by beautiful voices that soothe your wounded heart.
Defining the sound Makhota says: "Our sound is Afro-centric. Our music is very simple and caters for all. We usually take well-known traditional songs and rework them to suit our style . Our approach is very traditional."
The message of the album is simple and clear: giving hope to people and bringing them closer to God.
The group was formed in 2003 by Pastor Isaac with the aim of praising God and spreading the gospel through music.
Since then the group has introduced a revolutionised praise and worship music that fills people with great joy.
