Italy's Olympic swimming champion Federica Pellegrini won the top sportswoman prize after she too smashed records to take gold in the 200 and 400m freestyle at this year's Rome world championships, Gazzetta said yesterday. Barcelona were voted best team by journalists at Italy's top sports newspaper for winning the Champions League and the domestic double in Spain. - Reuters
