A SOUTH African teenager lost a leg and arm after he was attacked by a shark in Ponte de Orca Bay in southern Mozambique, Radio Mozambique reported yesterday.

A SOUTH African teenager lost a leg and arm after he was attacked by a shark in Ponte de Orca Bay in southern Mozambique, Radio Mozambique reported yesterday.

The Maputo-based station said the boy, who was with his parents on holiday in Mozambique, was airlifted to a KwaZulu-Natal hospital after the attack this week. He is still receiving treatment.

Ponte de Orca Bay is popular among South African tourists during the festive season because of its scenic diving and fishing sites. - Sapa
