Police in Haenerstburg rearrested four men who escaped from their cells at about 5pm on Christmas Day, Superintendent Mohale Ramatseba said.
The men are aged between 21 and 23 and were awaiting trial for crimes ranging from housebreaking and rape to murder.
Seshego police have also rearrested a man who escaped from a police van on Christmas Day. -Sapa
