Godlo and S'Phatho Handi jointly promoted the vacant WBF welterweight title fight between Tenge and Gifty Amanua Ankrah from Ghana at the Orient Theatre in East London last weekend.
Tenge stopped Akrah in round nine.
Her victory catapulted her to being South Africa's first female world champion.
Women's boxing was introduced here two years ago thanks to the insistence of acting CEO of Boxing SA Loyiso Mtya, then operations director. Akrah replaced Fransisca Mbang from Cameroon, who was reportedly arrested last Wednesday at the OR Tambo International Airport for alleged theft.
Koko made it clear yesterday that Tenge' s future was outside Africa, saying that the 27-year-old youngster from Mooiplaas, a farm near East London, has no significant opposition anywhere on the continent.
"Her future is Australia, Brazil and Mexico," Godlo said. "My gratitude for producing the first SA female world champ goes to the Eastern Cape government. It has been behind us all the way, along with all the write-ups in the Sowetan newspaper. Noni is not my champion but the country's property."
Mtya suggested that Tenge be channelled through the route of the Women International Boxing Federation (WIBF).
"I believe she is good enough to mix it with the best. Noni just needs to be kept busy in order to improve her rating."
Cecilia Braekhu fron Norway holds the WIBF, WBA and WBC welterweight belts while Holly Holm from the US is the current WIBA champion. Tenge is rated fifth by the WIBF while the WBC has placed her sixth. She is trained in Mdantsane by Lennox Mpulampula, who was voted Boxing SA's Trainer of 2008.
Tenge shared the Prospect of 2007 award with Chris van Heerden.
She has notched up eight wins (6 KOs) and a draw.
