Free press has destroyed Tiger Woods

TIGER Woods had no particular significance for me but all of a sudden I am no longer indifferent towards him.

TIGER Woods had no particular significance for me but all of a sudden I am no longer indifferent towards him.

Just because he is a celebrity his personal life is now wide open for every vulture and scavenger. Within two short weeks he finds that there is virtually nothing left for him: his private life as well as his career has been destroyed.

This has been done by what we call the free press, but I fail to see freedom of the press and cannot fathom what good has been derived from it. I am disgusted with the press.

If the press can do this to Tiger Woods just think what it can do to the next successful sportsman. It is far better to take part in sport under a pseudonym.
