Thembi talks hot fashion

XTROVERTED Jika Majika presenter Thembi Seete, who has the moves to dance you under the table, has missed yet another facet of her calling - modelling.

XTROVERTED Jika Majika presenter Thembi Seete, who has the moves to dance you under the table, has missed yet another facet of her calling - modelling.

Seete is also the proud owner of a newly dropped CD, Music Is My Life. After shedding so much baby fat on the dance floor sne not only looks fabulous but is a natural at photographic modelling.

She strolled in with a suitcase containing anything and everything that might be needed for a shoot.

We did not have to tell her what to do. She just breezed through and all that was left was to chat about her fresh, funky, young and stunning style.

"My style is very free, comfortable, simple yet elegant. I'm an energetic person who likes to laugh, which is why I have a flirtatious relationship with comedy," Seete says.

She says she thrives on colourful clothes but ensures that she wears clothes that enable her to deal with the whole day.

Her black-and-white schoolgirl outfit was inspired by her fun side.

"It's like a lot of men's fantasies - playful, hip and very sexy.

"This particular number is my favourite colour and that is why I even bought shoes to match.

"The layered dress is good for all those elegant parties where women take you in from head to toe and turn their back on you while men offer you a drink," she says.

"These days I am into purple and for no particular reason. Everything I touch is purple. Even my new set is dominated by purple. So are you surprised I went and got a purple cocktail dress with all my favourite colours in it?

"As for the shiny DKNY black dress, its fun. I wear it when I perform and it goes well with the black cowboy boots."

She says she bought the silver skirt forevening do's. The top is to dress down the bling...

"It's great for partying. The message on the top is for women who do things themselves and don't wait for men to do things for them. I'm talking about serious hustlers. Girls who strive to be the best in everything they do."

The leopard print on the shoulder has all the colours she likes and compliments the tops of the girls she works with.

"It's for the stage and it's friendly, timeless and hip.

"I still love shoes, as you can see, but these days I have other pressing investments like property. I have matured and dress to please myself."
