POLICE yesterday arrested three Nigerians believed to be part of a Phuthaditjhaba drug syndicate that targeted schools in the QwaQwa area.

POLICE yesterday arrested three Nigerians believed to be part of a Phuthaditjhaba drug syndicate that targeted schools in the QwaQwa area.

Sergeant Mmako Mophiring said the arrests were part of a joint crime prevention operation aimed at ending the illegal drug trade.

"The syndicate was linked to 13 cases of dealing in drugs in QwaQwa. The police seized cocaine rocks worth about R9000, cash, two vehicles and a few grams of dagga," Mophiring said.

The men will appear in court today to face charges of dealing in drugs. - Sapa
