THE current account deficit narrowed further in the third quarter, aided by improving exports as global stimulus packages lift international trade and with domestic spending still weak.

The Reserve Bank said yesterday the shortfall dipped in line with expectations to 3,2percent of GDP, a more than four-year low, from an upwardly revised 3,4percent in the second quarter. - Reuters
