TEN members of the Congress of South African Students and students of a Cape Flats school appeared in the Wynberg magistrate's court yesterday.

The case was postponed to January after the prosecutor told magistrate Hafisa Mohamed that neither the docket nor the investigating officer could be tracked down.

The 10 were charged with public violence and assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm after matric exams were disrupted last month in Langa, Khayelitsha and Philippi. Cosas was leading protests against the planned closure of the Lagunya Finishing School. - Sapa
