THE Eastern Cape will wrap up this year on a high note - with a Sdudla Mix concert on December 30 at the Algoa Racecourse in Walmer, Port Elizabeth.

Sdudla Mix will feature 17 top DJs and six performing artists, who will provide fun lovers with a blast until the next morning.

With an exciting line-up of well-known DJs the event will attract fun lovers.

The line-up is Big NUZ, Thebe and Spikiri, as well as Purari, Phakes, Laz Makaz, Oskido, Fresh, Vinny da Vinci, Tira, Sox, Siyanda, Cleo, Roger Goode, Euphonik, Vetkuk vs Mahoota, Slyso, Shane, Morne, Mthi, Gees Pot and Jay-B.

Monwabisi Grootboom, the organiser of the event, says: "We are staging the event for all the people who know how to have fun. It is the first of its kind."

Grootboom says Sdudla Mix will be a celebratory event on the festive calendar of the Nelson Mandela Metro that will draw a truly racially mixed audience.

"The venue is away from the beach because we know that people will pack the place. We want to minimise the high volume of people visiting beaches, which causes major safety hazards.People are welcome to come with their camping chairs and braais and have fun."

Tickets are available at Computicket and Shoprite for R80 and R150 for the VIP area.
