Beauties in beauty business

THESE days it's not enough for celebs to be just hot and talented. If they are not launching their own clothing brands, they are coming out with cosmetic lines.

THESE days it's not enough for celebs to be just hot and talented. If they are not launching their own clothing brands, they are coming out with cosmetic lines.

And the latest stars to get in on the cosmetic action are Scandal! stars Sorisha Naidoo and Dawn Matthews.

The two recently debuted their skin care range consisting of capsules, body gel, toner, mask, rosehip oil, sunscreen and cleansing gel.

Naidoo already owned Pure Perfect when she invited her friend of many years, Matthews, to join the beauty business.

At an intimate media launch held at Naidoo's plush house in Sandton last week, the two said they were happy that their dream of launching their personal beauty line came to fruition.

"We're excited to launch Cosmetyn and Pure Perfect Parfait. Both products are the highlight of our growing brand, Pure Perfect, and we hope women will find it beneficial to their skin needs. For us, this not only is the beginning of a beautiful partnership, but is an introduction of everlasting beauty to women in South Africa," said Naidoo and Matthews.

The products are available at beauty salons, hotels and spas in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.
