ABSA Premiership bottom-of-the-log club Jomo Cosmos have signed Keamogetse Wolff and Mfanafuthi Bhembe in a bid to strengthen their squad and stave off relegation.

Both players made their debuts for Ezenkosi in the goalless draw against second-bottom Mpumalanga Black Aces on Saturday. Thabani Gumede, Cosmos's administration manager, expressed his delight at their acquisition yesterday.

"We are pleased to have acquired the services of Keamogetse Wolff from Bloemfontein Celtic and Mfanafuthi Bhembe, who had been studying in England but is from Swaziland," he said.

"We truly believe that the additions of these two players will add value to the club and help us in our quest to move out of the relegation zone. Wolff is a left-back and he will add some stability to our defence, while Bhembe is a striker and will help us to convert our chances into goals."

Bhembe will have to settle down quickly, with Mali striker Sekou Camara out of action for six weeks after dislocating his shoulder.

Gumede views their draw away to Aces as a turning point in their season, and hopes they carry the positives into tomorrow's home game against Orlando Pirates.
