Let the ballot sort it out

I WANT to congratulate and salute the ANC Youth League for the bold step it has taken in the role it has been playing in rallying young people behind the ANC vision and building the party by continuing to advance its ideological perspectives and defend its revolutionary character.

I WANT to congratulate and salute the ANC Youth League for the bold step it has taken in the role it has been playing in rallying young people behind the ANC vision and building the party by continuing to advance its ideological perspectives and defend its revolutionary character.

This is a clear call to all ANC members in every corner of our country to rise up and defend our glorious movement with every available political and ideological means.

Branches must be central and rise to this challenge.

Political education and the continuous induction of new members must be compulsory for all ordinary members and those who will be taking leadership positions in every structure of the ANC.

Consistent political education is one of the answers to this challenge.

The history of the ANCYL from as early as 1943 clearly indicates that from time immemorial the communist influence in the ANC has created political mistrust and instability, so the leaders of the youth movement of the time were very critical of the communists in the ANC.

Let us continue to rally around our revolutionary alliance without allowing the ANC to become weakened. There is no way this country will be governed by an alliance and neither will the alliance lead the ANC.

In this regard, if communists continue with their effort to create confusion and continue to attack ANC leaders in public, I will gladly agree with the Young Communist League that we meet at the ballot.
