THE Kungwini Jazz on the Dam Music Concert is back this year looking to entertain fun lovers.

THE Kungwini Jazz on the Dam Music Concert is back this year looking to entertain fun lovers.

Taking place for the seventh time the concert will be staged at the Die Draai Dam, Bronkhorstspruit, Mpumalanga.

The concert promises to dazzle music lovers with a youthful line-up. offering genres such as Afro-jazz, Afro-pop and urban dance music.

Among the artists featured is Selaelo Selota, Malaika, Theo, Siphokazi, Rhythmic Elements, Winnie Khumalo, Queen Elizabeth, Thandi Khiva and Madluphuthu.

Those who love urban dance will dance until they drop to the sound of Rhythmic Elements. The duo from Pretoria have taken the local music scene by storm with their famous hit 2 by 2.

Since coming on to the scene last year they have collected one after the other award. Last year they walked away with two Metro FM awards: Song of the Year and Best Dance Album. This year the won the coveted Song of the Year at thes South African Music Awards.

Selota, who has a reputable music profile, has been roped in to stabilise the line-up.

Currently promoting his fifth album, Lapeng Laka, Selota is one of the best Afro-jazz producers and musician.

Prosper Mukwaiwa, the man behind the show, says: "This is the beginning of the many concerts to come in Bronkhorstspruit.

"Now people here won't have to travel long distances to see their artists."

The concert starts at 10am and tickets available at Computicket and Shoprite for R130 and for R160 at the gate.
