CRIME does not pay. I would like to thank the police for the arrest of those officials who allegedly leaked exam papers in Mpumalanga.

I'm happy they will learn a lesson that destroying the future of our future leaders has no place in this world. One wonders why every year there is a scandal in Mpumalanga. It is because of corrupt officials and learners.

As I write now there are students in Piet Retief, Ermelo and Nelspruit who are not admitted to tertiary institutions because their documents are not in order or their year-end marks are suspicious.

Let us stop this bug of corruption and incompetent educators who do not teach our children but rely heavily on making short cuts for them.
