Girls on a mission to spend a terrific night

IT HAS to be said that this is a great life.

IT HAS to be said that this is a great life.

Last Saturday we lucky girls spent a day and evening with some other lucky girls who had won a dinner at The Attic, hair and beauty makeover at Terenxo's hair salon and a party with the stars at Taboo, courtesy of Berryluscious, the latest addition to the Brutal Fruit range.

The girls were runners-up to the bigger prize, a trip to the US for the winner and two mates to to meet Ryan Seacrest.

This once-in-a-lifetime trip includes a stay at the retro Standard Hotel on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angelese; a VIP visit to Universal Studios, new clothes and other prizes we are too jealous and lazy to mention.

Our day started off at the salon with the girls being made to look stunning while sipping delicious Brutal Fruit flavours. All kinds of crazy-looking white stylists created fantastic hairstyles, but we had to laugh when black hairstylists pointed out that they could not fix a weave or sew on a tract.

We were rescued by the lovely owner, Terence, who fixed all the black ladies' fake hair. The girls looked splendid.

Then it was off to Taboo. The club was so packed we wondered who needed to go to California to party when we had such great places here.

Chris, the owner, was his usual gracious self and did not seem to mind strange black girls following him around.

Irvin of Big Brother fame was in the house with his girlfriend or BFF. We all thought he liked boys so were quite puzzled when he quizzed a couple about their sexuality.

Oh, I forgot to mention that the girls we had dinner with were great sports.

They even gave us girls valuable tips on how to spend a girl's night out without overdoing things.

Hic, now we know.
