ENERGETIC singer Winnie Khumalo will dazzle music lovers on Saturday at Abrahamstown resort in Sasolburg.

ENERGETIC singer Winnie Khumalo will dazzle music lovers on Saturday at Abrahamstown resort in Sasolburg.

A marvel to watch on stage, she will perform with other local stars at an HIV-Aids benefit concert in the Vaal.

The singer, who has turned her music career around with her recent album Live My Life, has taken the industry by storm.

The 36-year-old musician is undoubtedly talented.

Khumalo will share the stage with musicians such as Tshepo Tshola, Rhythmic Elements, Lucky Dube Band, Caiphus Semenya, Zuluboy, Ringo Madlingozi, Jonas Gwangwa, Malaika, Bhudaza, Theo Kgosinkwe and Simphiwe Dana.

Hip-hop singer Zuluboy, the youngest musician in the line-up, will bring a different perspective to the event. Born Mxolisi Majozi, Zuluboy recently won the South African Traditional Music Awards' best hip-hop artist.

Kgosinkwe, whose album is flying off the shelves, will entertain the fans with his dance moves.

Hosted by the Fezile Dabi Municipality, the annual festival raises funds for orphanages, homes for abused women and girls, care givers and child-headed homes.

Mthembeni Mlangeni, one of the organisers, said: "We seek to create an ongoing HIV-Aids campaign. The event was inspired by the 5,3million South Africans who are HIV-positive. We aim to deliver an event that cuts across the racial spectrum and to blend people and cultures."
