Following hot on the moonwalking steps of the iconic American musician's white rhinestone glove selling for a cool R2,6million is the news that China's own Las Vegas will be the site of Whacko Jacko's first Asian shrine.

The revenue from the glove will add to the $90million (R677million) Forbes magazine estimates Jackson has made in gross earnings since his death on June 25. This figure is based primarily on estimated royalties from album sales, radio play, rights to his name and likeness and royalties from his stake in the Sony-ATV music catalogue.

Jackson, who on the video of his 1981 hit Thriller is seen rising from the dead, proves that when it comes to raking in the big bucks, the grave is no deterrent.
