This was said by one of the party's own members at a meeting on Sunday in Langa, Cape Town, attended by about 50 regional interim leaders.
Afterwards they released a stinging statement against the three Cope MPLs, accusing them of "demoralising" Cope supporters with their poor performance.
"We charge that some of our public representatives are totally inept . and and that has demoralised a lot of our supporters," said Bernard Joseph, a regional leader until he was suspended five months ago.
