Have memorial services after school hours

IT IS heart-warming that the disruption of schools does not go unnoticed, as was demonstrated by Balobedu tribe regent Mpapatla Modjadji.

He vehemently opposed teachers attending memorial services during school hours and wantsLimpopo education MEC Namane Masemola to look into the matter.

I totally agree that memorial services should take place after 3pm and not at 10am. This is only fair because the government pays teachers salaries based on what they contribute to education. At some schools classes do not start before 10am. This is one reason why many children go astray as they have ample time for mischief.

I hope Masemola takes note.
