Several local fashion houses, such as Hein & TWO, showcased trends sweeping South Africa at the second Sarita Gold Carpet event in downtown Joburg on Saturday.
By now you should know the club since Arthur keeps on shooting videos there when he is bored. But enough old people, we gals enjoyed the launch with some stunning fashion shows featuring our local models and some really dark ones.
In addition to the exclusive runway show, guests were treated to a smooth performance by rising star Brian Temba. Model Babalwa Mnemo and soccer star Benni McCarthy were also among the guests even though I must be honest we girls did not see them as we were hogging the free bar.
The most glamorous guests were rewarded for their chic sense of style with Sarita and Iman International Cosmetic hampers, and selected glam outfits straight off the runway show.
Thanks for the invite guys, next time invite more celebs and take we girls home as we don't drink and drive.
