MASSIVELY supported Bloemfontein Celtic have complemented their squad with the addition of young defender Daniel "Stop Nonsense" Madebe.

The acquisition of Madebe comes ahead of their big Absa Premiership Free State derby against Free State Stars at Charles Mopeli Stadium in Namahadi on Sunday.

Celtic general manager Khumbulani Konco said Madebe was recruited from Gauteng's Safa Vodacom Promotional League side Alexandra United.

"Daniel has been training with us for some time. We wanted to sign him at the beginning of the season but he only came here in September. He has impressed the coach (Owen da Gama) and his technical staff at training and we are excited to have signed him. He is one of the most talented young defenders."

Konco said Madebe will be available for selection on Sunday, while Michael Khaile is suspended.

Stars will use the game to introduce new coach Gordon Igesund, who joined the team last Sunday from Maritzburg United.
