Top performing schools awarded

THE SOUTH AFRICAN Black Technical and Allied Careers Organisation in Limpopo has awarded honorary membership to three schools that performed well in maths and science.

THE SOUTH AFRICAN Black Technical and Allied Careers Organisation in Limpopo has awarded honorary membership to three schools that performed well in maths and science.

This is the first time that Sabtaco has awarded honorary membership to schools. The award was given to Mbilwi, Harry Openheimer and SJ van der Merwe High Schools at a function held in Polokwane yesterday.

Speaking during the function, education MEC Namane Masemola congratulated Sabtaco and encouraged the organisation to do more in supporting rural and township schools.

The principals of the three schools promised a 100percent pass rate in this year's matric examinations. - Frank Maponya
