AFRO-POP singer Kelly Khumalo's 25th birthday celebration, themed "One Way Ticket to Hell", saw many ghoulish creatures crawling out into the night in Rivonia, Johannesburg.

Guests dressed as Dracula, witches, devils and black-winged angels were entertained by artists such as 3sum, Winnie Khumalo, Pastor Mbobo, Tina, Jub Jub, DJ MacG and the Vinyl Angels to mention a few.

The festive gathering ended with the launch of Khumalo's new single Just be there.

Khumalo was carried on to the stage in a coffin to the tune of Michael Jackson's Thriller.

She was scantily dressed in a sexy black spandex ensemble and blurted out her new tune as she got out of the coffin. The new release will be in stores from December 1.

Speaking about the party Khumalo said: "I am so pleased that everything went according to plan.

"I have never organised anything like this before and it was great that everybody showed up dressed as per the theme.

"Performances by all the guest artists were amazing and I had so much fun," Khumalo said.

Future plans involve her new album that will be released early next year plus a movie project.

"We have just finished the script, which depicts what I have been through as a person on my journey through life.

"We will be casting around February 2010. I will not be playing the part of myself for the beginning of the movie as I feel it is important to give other people opportunities."
