THE Reserve Bank will probably keep interest rates unchanged at its first meeting with new governor Gill Marcus this week, analysts say.

THE Reserve Bank will probably keep interest rates unchanged at its first meeting with new governor Gill Marcus this week, analysts say.

All but four of 28 analysts surveyed said the bank would hold fire on monetary easing given tentative signs of a recovery and concerns that an expected big rise in power prices will stoke inflation.

Interest rates were left unchanged at two previous meetings. - Reuters
