THE Land Redistribution Programme is frustrating current land owners and claimants are worried about the losses being incurred because it is in slow motion, AgriSA said yesterday.

THE Land Redistribution Programme is frustrating current land owners and claimants are worried about the losses being incurred because it is in slow motion, AgriSA said yesterday.

AgriSA's transformation committee said steps to be taken in the interest of all concerned parties to resolve the impasse should be clearly spelt out.

The union added that the state's capacity to acquire land would be under pressure for the next three years as the price of land escalated while evaluations had been done without anything happening as the government had failed to buy land.
