McBride case again put off

THE case of former Ekurhuleni metro police chief Robert McBride was postponed again at the CCMA yesterday.

THE case of former Ekurhuleni metro police chief Robert McBride was postponed again at the CCMA yesterday.

McBride, dismissed last September, wants his job back on the grounds that he was promised an extension of his contract.

The case was postponed to December 2 after his witness, former municipal manager Patrick Flusk, failed to attend yesterday, for the second day in a row.

McBride's lawyer said Flusk was unable to attend because he was "at a training course" in the Vaal. - Sowetan reporter
