But it appears his players are still basking in the Wafa Wafa glory.
Since the final, Arrows, who host Sundowns at Chatsworth Stadium at 3.30pm tomorrow, have lost one league match and drawn two. But striker Richard Henyekane says it is only a matter of time before they return to their winning ways.
"There is nothing wrong at the club and we are hopeful that things will change soon. The reason we have struggled so far is that some teams defend tightly against us, making it difficult for us but we'll keep trying. I must admit, though, that it is frustrating not to score as a striker," said Henyekane, who has scored four goals in the Premiership this season.
Former Arrows midfielder Papi Zothwane says he relishes the challenge of coming up against his former club.
"I'm looking forward to playing against my former club and to come against my little brother (Ntlantla)," said the Downs midfielder.
"But I will be going onto the field to help my team get the three points and not to prove anything to Arrows." He attributed Downs' recent hot streak to a better understanding among the players.
