Rich in energy, it gives the impression of an "in place" where the "in crowd" hangs out. You can't run away from the fact that some of the golden oldies still kick butt if one is to judge by the reaction of the people at the Cheyenne Salon at the Carousel in Hammanskraal, north of Pretoria.
The eclectic melodies constitute a trip from various clubs. Ranging from the sultry Jazz and Blues Club through to the lively swing club of the 40s on to the infamous Studio 54, it's music that will move you. The cast is vibey and lively.
This is a culmination of a journey that took people to where nights sizzle at Club Tropicana, moving onto the rich and colourful culture offered at the local Shebeens and Sokkie Clubs. It would then take the guests onto the current trend of the Hot Spots of Los Angeles where they have modern, contemporary hits playing while the skills of aerial artists hover overhead showing their skills and artistry.
The show allows for the various genres of music and to go through some of the greatest songs and most popular hits ever sung - add to this a lineup of beautiful and sassy dancers with extravagant costumes to enhance the various moods that would be created for each club.
The vocalists are able to cover various genres required for such a production. They are able to Pop, Rock and feel a whole lot of Soul.
