THE South African Municipal Union has criticised Mogale City municipality in Krugersdorp and accused it of victimisation.

This was after four employees were slapped with a disciplinary hearing. The employees have been charged with bringing the municipality into disrepute and the hearing was due to start this week.

This comes after they took their manager Humphrey Mmemezi to court earlier this year, accusing him of sexual harassment.

He was found not guilty by the Krugersdorp magistrate's court in August. - Getrude Makhafola
