TWO courts in the Johannesburg CBD were yesterday evacuated after a bomb scare.

TWO courts in the Johannesburg CBD were yesterday evacuated after a bomb scare.

The Johannesburg magistrate's court was the first to be evacuated before everyone was ordered to vacate the Johannesburg high court.

The courts were vacated for almost two hours and trials in the high court were postponed until after lunch.

Police spokesperson Superintendent Lungelo Dlamini said: "Someone phoned and said that there was a bomb in the courts but we have found nothing. - Luzuko Pongoma
