AJAX Cape Town have vowed to redeem their pride against Moroka Swallows at Newlands Stadium tonight, following the humiliating 6-0 defeat by Lamontville Golden Arrows in the MTN 8 final.

Kickoff is at 7.30pm.

Urban Warriors' captain Brett Evans said: "We are obviously disappointed with how things turned out against Arrows on Saturday night. The morale is down at the moment but we are professional players and have a job to do. I think the boys are more than prepared for Swallows."

Lefa Tsutsulupa, the Swallows captain, said if Ajax's defence is as dismal as it was on Saturday, "we will hammer them".

He said recent wins against Maritzburg United and Kaizer Chiefs were only two in a target of six.

Meanwhile Sello Rabothata reports that a wounded Bloemfontein Celtic host bottom-of-the-log Jomo Cosmos in what could be an intriguing tussle at the Seisa Ramabodu Stadium in Mangaung tonight.

Kickoff is at 7.30pm.

Celtic have had a good start to the season and are sixth on the log though Mamelodi Sundowns beat them 1-0 in their last game. Cosmos are showing signs of regrouping after a shaky start and played well in the 1-all draw with AmaZulu.
