Publicist Bongi Potelwa says there has been "roller-coaster action" on the set leading to the 1000th episode. "The soapie is packed with jaw-dropping incidents, the big one being the shocking murder of Abigail Rodriquez-Martins.
"The team has hard-working and talented workers who give it their all."
It has had viewers glued to their screens as the storyline twisted and turned - keeping them entertained with crime, investigative journalism, family feuds, ruthless rivalries and hidden agendas.
In this milestone episode, Pastor Lefa Letswalo (Aubrey Poo) becomes increasingly suspicious that his wife is having an affair.
Policeman Cairo reveals his real reason for going to Limpopo to Dika. Eddie also cautions Mangi about getting romantically involved with Keke while he is still in the process of recovering from heroin addiction.
So what can viewers expect after this episode? "Expect more drama, love, fighting between David Nyathi and the Martins," says Potelwa, who says there is also a heartbreaking story unfolding between the divorced Morongwe and Alex.
