THE Blue Bulls Rugby Union, in conjunction with Willem Straus Promotions, will stage the Seven's Women's Tournament at Grootvlei Sport Academy in Pretoria from November 20 to 22.
The tournament is the first of its kind to be hosted by the Pretoria union with the objective being to expand women's rugby in the country.
It will also give the provincial teams a good opportunity to test their rugby skills against their international counterparts. The national teams of the Arabian Gulf, Zimbabwe and Botswana have already accepted invitations to take part in the tournament.
Andre Both, the union's general manager, said they wholeheartedly support the initiative.
" I am sure it will make a huge contribution towards the advancement of the game in South South Africa."
