THE return of resolute Bidvest Wits defender Junaid Mashamaitefrom suspension will inspire the team ahead of their Absa Premiership clash against lowly Mpumalanga Black Aces at Milpark Stadium tomorrow.

Kickoff is at 8pm.

The return of soldier Mashamaite is expected to add more sparks to the rearguard after Golden Arrows capitalised on their shaky defence with a 3-3 draw in Durban at the weekend.

George "Sokkies" Mogotsi, the Wits manager, said yesterday they are glad that Mashamaite is back in the camp. The team is injury-free. He said his charges will be in full force to retain their unbeaten record in the league at the expense of the Mpumalamga outfit.

"Aces are a formidable side mentored by a shrewd coach, Sammy Troughton. "But we're not going to treat them with kid gloves because we desperately need the three points," said Mogotsi.

The Students are third on the log with 18 points from 10 games while Aces are second from bottom with nine points, also from 10 games.

The visitors will have to keep an eye on top scorer Calvin Kadi, who is dangerous if not well guarded.
