AFRICAN Monitor's Archbishop Njongonkulu Ndungane has expressed dismay at the burden of the food crisis in Africa.

"It is not only morally unacceptable but a crime against humanity to allow people to go to bed hungry every day," Ndungane said yesterday.

He said Africa faced a "double burden" of obesity caused by unhealthy lifestyles and hunger in underprivileged communities.
